| Psychological Profile | Kurt is a smart, intelligent fellow who depspite all his potential, spends his time fooling around. Don't think that he won't do as he is told. He will do it, but he will take his time getting around to it. It has been noted that Kurt has a big ego and probably needs to be pegged down a few notches. A lesson in humility would not hurt him. HISTORY
Kurt was born and raised on the planet Refka. Like all his people before him, he lived deep within the subteranneon caverns throughout the planet. This is thought to be one of the reasons for the black skin and red eyes which are common to all of the Cahroon. Also as a result of the race's subterraneon living, they have the ability to see body heat. Normal light does tend to hurt their eyes until they get used to it. Kurt lived most of his life under the surface, and when the time came for him to decide what he must do with his life, he chose Starfleet. He had served with the 58th Cahroon guards, his community's law enforcement. His successful time at it convinced him he was the best so he should serve with the best.
As all Cahroon had to do when desiring to enter Starfleet, Kurt had to spend some time letting his eyes adjust to the lights used in starships, starbases, and Starfleet buildings. He spent the usual amount of time and adapted well. He could even stay outside for periods of time, but he would usually have to wear eye gear or risk eye damage. His training proceeded well in Starfleet Academy, but perhaps too well. He eventually became convinced that he was the best in security. He nearly never missed with a phaser and when he wanted to, he could accomplish a mission with excellance. He began to get very cocky and partied often with his fellows. His teachers generally frowned on this and tried to discourage it. Though they did knock him down a bit, he usually came back with his cocky attitude. One of these days he might get someone hurt or killed if he does not clean up his act.
