HISTORY

Skuld was born on the Ingu home planet, and has one brother and one sister. Sadly her mother died while giving birth to her sister. The three children were raised by their father, and being the oldest, Skuld had to help. She was raised a little different from other Ingus; she is not so child-like as most are. Having to help raise her brother and sister, made this difference obvious from the start, and she had very few friends. Skuld was very bright, and made good grades through school even with the added responsibility of helping with her brother and sister.

Skuld then applied and was accepted to Starfleet Medical School where she earned high marks from all her professors. During her time at Med School, she was in a very serious relationship, but he was opposed to her going into Starfleet, which had been her lifelong dream. When she was accepted to Starfleet Academy (after two years in Med school), they broke up. The break-up was very painful for her, but some of the pain was lifted from her because her father supported her going to Starfleet, and told her how very proud he was of her accomplishments.

While in Starfleet, she was very withdrawn, and had few friends. Because of her breakup and the fact that she never had many close friends, she was shy, and she has never truely learned how to make friends. Upon graduating from the academy Skuld was stationed on Starbase 110, and quickly earned the respect of her shipmates. Still, she had no close friends. Perfering to be alone in her free time, her shipmates were never really sure how to approach her.

As the war with the Dominion escalated medical staff was pulled from various starbases to fill the vacant spots on the ships on the front lines. When the assistant CMO from Starbase 110 was transfered, Skuld was unexpectedly promoted to the vacant position. Now, with the war over, she has been transfered off of the Starbase and to the USS Firestorm.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

While they are shape shifters, shifting into a form other then their humanoid form and their specific object is taxing, and they cannot maintain the form for an extended period of time. (Usually no longer then 1-2 hours)

Reverting to their natural form while outside their homeworld causes a physical discomfort, and they tend to remain in humanoid form while amongst other humanoid species.

They can turn into one specific object beyond their humanoid form, primarily animals, with no effort.
