| Psychological Profile | Janus is a good friend and crewmember. He devotes all of his time to the job if necessary. When off-duty, Janus likes to hang out with friends, drink at the bar and to practise with weapons. He enjoys a good wargame on the holodeck and other holo-activities. Janus likes to explore what the world has to offer, he has tried all kinds of drugs and other substances but has found this has only made his mind unfocused. He wants to be where the action is, he wants to explore and learn new things all the time. When he wants to relax, he puts on music from Earth, all kinds of music and reads a good book. Another thing Janus enjoys is weapon training. Weapons had always been a part of Janus life, ever since he was a kid and went hunting with his father. Some people find Janus very active and fast, but inside is Janus unsure and carefull. He does not say very much, but he observes. |

Janus was born on a cold winter day in San Francisco, Earth. His parents, Eugene and Elaine Wilson, tried to raise Janus to be a good and peacefull farmer, although they did not succeed. His parents were farmers, they worked hard and appreciated the basic things in life. They never thought of what was outside their small plantation, what was outside the small planet.. The farm did not generate much of an income, but it kept the family busy.
Two years after Janus was born, Elaine gave birth to another son, Michael. They had problems feeding one child, and now they had two. Janus and his brother went to the local school during the days, and helped at the farm till late on the evenings. Everyday was the same.
Janus felt like a prisoner in the small houses and on the farm. He wanted to explore, he wanted to learn new things. The only thing Janus really liked at the farm was that when he had some time for his own, he used to take his fathers rifle and practice shoot in the forest.
At the age of 16, Janus was already a strong man, but the farm was not where he wanted to spend the rest of his days. So he hid in a truck that transported goods from the farm to the city. His intentions was to apply to Starfleet Academy.
Janus takes the entry exam, but fails. Shamed of his failure, Janus returns to his worried parents at the farm. He then spends the next year studying, reading every article in magazines, spending nights trying to understand the maths and working on the farm to stay in shape.
In time for the next entry exam, Janus parents drives him to the Academy and waits for him outside. When the test was over and the results were published, Janus had scored 87% and was accepted. His parents were very proud.
During the four years at the Acedemy Janus heard many stories about the legends in Starfleet, he felt this was the place for him. He liked the dicipline, the people and everything was absolutely fantastic in his eyes.
Janus majored in "Starship Security operations and procedures" with minors in "Tactics" and "Starship Navigations."
When Janus graduated, he was assigned to the USS Firestorm as Security Officer...
